Jake and I founded Hidden Maverick together. He is my son. That matters less than what he built.
Jake grew up surrounded by nature. Not as a concept, but as a daily reality. Plants, gardens, the habit of making things from what was available. As he got older, that habit became more focused. The plants he had grown up with, aloe vera, rosemary, thyme, rose petals, became materials he worked with seriously. At twelve, he made his first moisturiser. He kept refining it, quietly, for years. Before he left school, he told me he wanted to build a brand. I chose to help him, not out of obligation, but because the products had earned it. I have used them every day for seven years. They are part of my routine, not a pitch.
Hidden Maverick® is founded on one principle: what you preserve early, you do not need to repair later. That thinking extends beyond skincare.
